A CEF Program Documentary: Kiunga Safe Birth Program

At CEF, we often lead with “infrastructure-led change,” “system-integrated care pathways,” and “service delivery contracts.” While these terms define our professional rigor and social enterprise model, they only tell part of the story.

Today, we are proud to release a short documentary that takes you inside the Kiunga Safe Birth Program to show our mission in action. During the six-month period captured in this film, CEF supported 41 mothers from some of the most remote and isolated riverine communities in Papua New Guinea. The results speak to the power of targeted infrastructure: a 100% facility-based delivery rate, zero maternal complications, and every baby born at a healthy weight above 2.5kg.

At CEF, we design, operate, and deliver social programs that bridge the gap between isolation and safety. We invite you to watch the film and see how we are empowering tomorrow, today.
