Building Strong Foundations for Thriving Communities
Our development projects focus on three essentials: building solar-powered energy stations designed to run for up to 10 years without maintenance (Starlink internet connection compatible), delivering clean water solutions that last a lifetime, and providing frontline medical awareness and gear through first aid training, health education, and essential equipment.
Critical Components of Our Development Initiatives
Infrastructure is the foundation of CEF’s work. We provide internet, electricity, and clean water systems that enable remote communities to achieve better health, economic growth, and long-term self-sufficiency.

Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being
CEF’s Birthing Initiative reduces maternal and infant mortality by giving mothers in remote regions safe, supported access to childbirth services—improving survival and community health.
Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation
CEF supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation. We design community-tailored water systems that ensure even the most remote villages have safe, sustainable access to clean water.
Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy
CEF provides solar-powered systems that are affordable, reliable, and designed for remote, off-grid communities—ensuring long-term, sustainable access to energy.
Hupen Village Project
Although not the most recent CEF development Project, have a look at our 2024 Hupen project where CEF brought clean water, solar power, and internet to one of PNG’s most isolated villages—boosting health, education, and livelihoods in the Western Province of Papua New Guinea
